Well-appointed rooms were a nice size with a good sized bathroom. The setting was perfect, really close to ferry ports/ tunnel terminals, and the delightful and still-secret valley of the Inxent...

Dinner was a showstopper with fresh trout straight from the garden stream, paired with lovely local wines. The cozy decor of the Superior Double Room. Can't forget the good amuse bouche that kicked off our meal!
The thin curtains didn't quite block the traffic noise or the light from the yard. Breakfast was a letdown with gluten-filled options, but at least they didn't charge me for my coffee!

The atmosphere in the restaurant was enchanting.
We faced an unsettling situation upon arrival when there was nobody available to check us in until 5:40 PM-far longer than expected. The rooms lacked basic cleanliness, with cobwebs present and stains on the doors, made the initial impression disappointing. Most frustrating was the overall lack of clear communication from the staff, particularly about service timings and accommodations.

Absolutley dreadful service. I had to navigate a steep staircase in the freezing cold, far from the superior double room I trusted to receive. Apparently, breakfast is merely coffee and stale pastries. It should be noted I had high hopes, even for wine, but that offer was poorly executed. I woudl ve been better off elsewhere.

The staff treated us with genuine warmth. Dinner was a highlight with delicious local dishes. Don't miss the fresh pastries at breakfast. They're divine!

missingWrote a review on 22 Juncozy atmospherecharming decorinsufficient curtainslimited breakfastpoor value
The stay featured a cozy atmosphere, highlighted by the charming decor and a warm dining area. Sleep quality suffered due to insufficient blackout curtains and traffic noise throughout the night. While the food offered was decent, the breakfast selection was limited and lacked variety, rendering it poor value for the price. The steep stairs in the alternative accommodation were quite challenging to navigate, detracting from the overall comfort.

Country escape for couples
The room was spacious and comfortable. They had a roaring fire in the restaurant .
It wasn't inexpensive but still reasonable.

Perfect Stop for Romantic Escapades
Had a lovely stroll around the quaint village, and the hosts directed us to some nice walking paths nearby. The food is simple but not pretentious, and it blew my mind! We enjoyed an very nice meal with carefully selected wines, the owner actually tasted each one himself to ensure its quality. An experience you just don't get everywhere.
It wasn't exactly inexpensive but still reasonable enough for what you get.

missingWrote a review on 21 Maycozy atmospherefriendly stafflocal producethin curtains
The cozy atmosphere is improved with fresh local produce, like the trout right from the river. Staff were super friendly, and the breakfast service was a lovely touch rather than a buffet.
One downside was the thin curtains that didn't block out all the light at night.
